GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  This is a HQMC (PP&O), TECOM (Policy and Learning Branch) coordinated message.
2. Situation.  To announce the FY23 update to training codes in support of automated Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Defense (CBRND) reporting in Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS).
3. Mission. In accordance with REF (A), the Marine Corps Training Information Management System (MCTIMS) Training Event Code AG-Gas Chamber was sunset on 01 October 2022, and replaced by the Training Event Codes (TEC) identified in section 4 of this MARADMIN to establish general purpose forces, and when required installations, CBRND training requirements for all Marines.
4. Execution. When unit/individual training and readiness requirement(s) is/are completed, the CBRND officer/chief/specialist or CBRND collateral duty officer will provide the finalized report to the unit training chief.  Unit training chiefs will input completed CBRND training in MCTIMS against codes identified below:
4.A.1.  CA – CBRND IPECE. (Individual Protective Equipment Confidence Exercise)
4.A.2.  CB – CBRND ITS. (Individual Training Standards)
4.A.3.  These codes establish the individual CBRND training requirements for all Marines.  Completion of individual CBRND training will be certified in MCTIMS by the unit training chief or designated administrator.
4.B. Commanders shall track and record all individual training completed by Marines within MCTIMS Individual Marine Management (IMM).
4.C. Units will identify individuals who complete CBRND team training requirements and assign Marines to those requirements in MCTIMS IMM, based upon operational objectives/mission requirements.
4.C.1. The following codes are established within MCTIMS to record and track individual Marines’ completion of general purpose force team training requirements identified for non 57XX MOS Marines:
4.C.1.A.  CC – CBRND Monitoring & Surveillance (Initial)
4.C.2.B.  CD – CBRND Monitoring & Surveillance (Quarterly)
4.C.3.C.  CE – CBRND Decontamination (Initial)
4.C.4.D.  CF – CBRND Decontamination (Quarterly)
5. Administration and Logistics.
5.A. Administration. Step by step instructions to report CBRND individual and team training utilizing MCTIMS can be found at: https:(slash)(slash)usmc.sharepoint-mil.us/sites/DCPPO_PO_POP/CBRND%20MCTIMS%20Training/Forms/AllItems.aspx
5.B. Compliance with this requirement is inspected during current Inspector General of the Marine Corps (IGMC) and Commanding General Inspection Programs (CGIP) utilizing functional area checklist 3400.
6. Command and signal.  DC, PP&O PO, POP is the Office of Primary Responsibility (OPR) for this effort. Questions concerning the contents of this message should be directed to the points of contact listed above.
6.A. Readiness.  The establishment and implementation of these training event codes provide objective training to support the units overall CBRND readiness assessment within the DRRS.
6.A.1. Automated Reporting.  The automated CBRND readiness established by these codes provides a clear quantifiable metric of unit CBRND readiness.  Additional guidance on CBRND DRRS reporting will be provided in a follow-on MARADMIN which identifies updated CBRND training and equipment reporting procedures.
6.B.  Entry Level Training Reporting.  The implementation the TECs creates a window for the sunset code to affect Marine candidates and/or recruits at entry level training (ELT) to have improperly recorded CBRND IPECE training. The MCTIMS training code for Gas Chamber AG capturing training prior to the sunset of the new CBRND MCTIMS training codes will be valid (12) months from the date of sunset. Individual Marines that complete ELT will fall under the discretion of the gaining Commander. Commanders may require Marines to either conduct the CBRND IPECE training in accordance with the published policy or designate them exempt until the next required training interval (i.e., regionally required, Alert Contingency MAGTF, OPLAN/CONPLAN involvement, pre-deployment training [to include mobile or embedded training team]).
7.  This MARADMIN is applicable to the Marine Corps Total Force and is cancelled following incorporation into the update to the CBRND Policy Order MCO 3400.3_.
8.  Release authorized by MajGen Roger B. Turner Jr., Director, Operations Division, Plans, Policies & Operations.//
