GENTEXT/REMARKS/1.  Purpose.  To update eligibility requirements within reference (a) for Active Reserve (AR) Marines.
2.  Action.
    a.  This MARADMIN amends paragraph 3 of reference (a) as follows:  Paragraph 3 to read, “Active Component and Active Reserve Eligibility.  In addition to meeting at least one of the criteria in paragraph 2, AC and AR Marines must meet all of the below criteria.”
    b.  This MARADMIN amends Paragraph 3.a. to read, “Must be in the AC or AR serving on active duty.”
    c.  This MARADMIN removes paragraph 4 of reference (a) in its entirety.  All applicable eligibility requirements of the Active Component (AC) will apply to the AR.
3.  All other criteria as set forth in reference (a) remain applicable to the AR.
4.  This MARADMIN cancels on 31 December 2025 unless sooner rescinded.
